when you shoot a deer ,always wait 30 minuets before getting it. in that amount of time the deer will die for sure. the deer don't always die right away, and you might spook it away if you go after it before it dies. if you didn't hit it in the right spot you will have to wait longer. if you hit it in the head, or neck, you probably won't have to wait.
